Nicholas A. Farley Charitable Fund Inc., is a non-profit charitable fund that celebrates the life of Nick Farley, a great son, brother, friend, and leader. Nick lived a life of love and devotion toward his family, friends, and the countless people whom he encountered along the way. His compassion, sense of humor, honesty, strength, and his ever present smile are only some of the qualities that combined to make him a truly great young man.

Nicholas A. Farley was affected by dyslexia. What was different between Nicholas and countless others, was that through the correct educational interventions he was able to compensate for his learning differences and thrive as a student, an athlete, and as a person. Nick was fortunate to have the kind of academic, financial, and emotional support that is all too commonly missing for other young people. Nick recognized this injustice, and so do we. He would have wanted all children struggling with dyslexia to be afforded the same opportunities he was given. Though he is no longer with us, Nick continues to inspire our cause in helping young people just like himself. This is Nick’s legacy.

Our mission, here at the Nicholas A. Farley Charitable Fund Inc., is to take a multifaceted approach toward dyslexia through our support of Early Intervention, Teacher Training, Assistive Technologies for classrooms, and Financial Support for students. Our charity is continuously focused on growth and enhancing our ability to assist young people just like Nick, in need of vital support.

While in his senior year at Oliver Ames High School, Nick was voted by his peers as “Most Likely to Change the World.” Although Nick is no longer with us, this does not mean that he can no longer effect change. Your financial contributions will help fund the Nicholas A. Farley Charitable Fund Inc., which will continue the good work Nick had begun and help young people in need realize the talent and opportunity for greatness they possess.
